Malakai Houma to make Dirty Red debut

Newtown Jets and former New Zealand Warriors front rower Malakai Houma has been named to make his Dirty Reds debut in Saturday morning’s round 3 clash with the Wests Magpies at Campbelltown Stadium.

Houma is one of 8 Newtown contracted-players to turn out for the Reds against the Magpies – a list which includes brothers Jesse and Ben Marschke (Jesse pictured) and Penani Manumalealli, the man-of-the-match in last weekend’s 40-10 NSWRL Challenge Cup win over Macquarie Scorpions.

Others making their Ron Massey Cup debuts for Glebe Burwood are former Auburn Warriors back Addison Demetriou and fellow off-season recruits Adrian Ha’angana, Zac Nee-Chong and Ben Mathiou.

Kick-off is 11am Saturday.
